Labi Siffre has a ridiculous run of albums from 1970-1975 - dropping one basically every year, with each offering a new glimpse into Labi’s unique musical identity. Crying, Laughing, Loving, Lying in all of its lyrical honesty is my personal favorite.

Written in 1959 this is a famous book from the beat generation. This surreal stream of consciousness isn’t for the weak stomached and has led me to read it numerous times.

Despite the sophistication of audio equipment increasing by the day, it feels like there aren’t a lot of sources focusing on the discussion of new recording techniques.

One night on Shudder I stumbled on Hard Rock Zombies (1984) by Krishna Shah. This movie had a lot going on and was pretty fun.
